Minutes approved from November 28 meeting.

 

2.   Political Science Minor Revision Proposal

      - Approved with revision:

                  Required coursework listed in paragraph and also under “Courses” in the three focused minors, which may cause confusion.  These courses need to be deleted from one of the two places to avoid confusion.

 

3.   ED P&L 411 – not approved for GEC status.

      - Course content/required readings may not be appropriate for freshman level students, text too advanced.  Also, 400-level course number is too high to be considered as a GEC at the freshman level.  Unable to approve without either revising content and lowering course number, or requiring prerequisites to ensure that students are properly prepared for course content.
