- Word interdisciplinary is key in this title to distinguish it from EEOB
- 1 core course being proposed by Geol Sci and Antrho
- If a student is majoring in Bio would s/he have to take 3 additional courses from outside Bio Perspectives? Micro bio and EEOB should be allowed to take Bio Perspectives
- Recommended that it simply specifies no overlap with major
- Suggested that more info re: EEOB minor be included for comparison
- Concern expressed about pre-reqs in Bio Perspective- will new bio students have options?
- Suggested that this category be reviewed after 1 year to see if it is accessible to students
- Learning goals include all 4 perspectives
i. Students will get foundation of each in core course
- noted that the learning goals are ambitious for a minor

- Cultural and Critical Theory Minor- approved with changes
- Targeted to Honors students
- Purpose is to train students in theory
- Minor statement needs to explain theory in the humanities
i. i.e. rooted in texts such as Freud, etc- these courses draw on this
ii. explain more clearly what cultural and critical theory is
