Art Minor Proposal

  • Revision needed in the section titled "Impact on Department of Art (word choices)
  • Art 200 should be 3 credits, not 5,
  • Concerns about the number of individuals choosing Art as a Minor
  • Concerns that some classes have no prerequisites
  • Under Implementation, removal of the the term additional for advising support has been requeseted
  • Under Guidelines, work should have to be approved by the college or school counselor.  The following requirement can be removed, "The academic unit offereing the minor..."
  • More information is needed on how the minor will be assessed

*In General the members of the committee are in favor of the minor once the minor revisions are made

  • Prerequisites in the proposal do not match the ones specified in syllabus
  • Syllabus needs to be revised
  • the differences between 673 and 674 need to be articulated
