• The "student learning objectives" are not truly worded as such, but more so as teaching goals.  These can be re-worded easily for operational syllabus

HUM CC Sent Back 2/15/08; Contacted twitty.1 for revision on 2-27-08.

1. Committee recommends re-weighting the % of values of assignments because the % does not seem to agree with work load for various assignments.  
2. p.2 of syllabus: Student evaluation 1) Definitions section:  Suggestion re-think first category and perhaps put in less information to make defining more of an analytical exercise.  Task did not seem as rigorous as it could be.  This may be a matter of clarification as to what/how students will be asked to define.
3. Please expand on p. 2 of syllabus, section 2) Biographical sketches.  One paragraph seems a bit short – committee recommends expanding on rigor of exercise (or re-weighting as suggested above)
4. p. 2 of syllabus, section 5) rethink expectation of attending 2 exhibits – the committee likes requirement very much, but wondered how practical it would be during a given quarter.  Suggestion to provide virtual options (virtual museum tours, etc.)
5. Committee wants to seek concurrence from History of Art.  Curriculum and Assessment Office will secure this before revised proposal moves to Sub-B.
6. Committee felt this was an interesting and important course and as such, suggested applying for GEC Categories of Diversity as well as VPA.
