“The proposal now does include a statement of the Math 075 prerequisite, and does explain how the course fulfills the expected learning outcomes.  I do not see any revision to the assessment plan of 4/22, which did not specify which assignments would be used to assess the learning objectives, or how information derived from those measures would be applied to future reiterations of the course.”

  • Although there is a general sense in the Committee that the course meets the requirements of the GEC category, more specific information is needed about how 151 does this: an applied version of a general course does not necessarily cover some crucial components of the general course.
  •    Provide a two-column comparison showing how and where 151 and 150 cover basically the same components of inductive/deductive reasoning.
  •    How do 151 and 150 provide similar coverage of normative argumentation?
  • Is the course close enough to 150 to be decimalized?
  • terminologies are not daily used terms
  • pre-req: 150 has math pre-req, should this have the same pre-req
