I have forwarded the proposal to all RCL faculty on all campuses for their review and comment.  Before February 12, the Writing Program Directors and I will prepare and forward to Valerie for department approval a response to the proposal.

HUM CC 5/30/08:

  1. This seems like a practicum course or a number for such courses Kate to check OAA manual for different number, possibly lower
  2. Given title, it seems thin on theory, although this is a 3-credit undergraduate course
  3. Recommendation to remove Performance/hiring sentence as it is not relevant to course performance. (P. 1 bottom)
  4. Committee formally requests feedback and comments from Rhetoric and Composition Program within English department.
  5. Are there comparable courses in other HUM, or ASC colleges? How should this course best be positioned within curriculum.
