Thank you for your course change request to raise the credit hours of Spanish 240 from 3 to 4. The rationale is clear and in my opinion well warranted.  I have two questions for you both before this goes to the Humanities Curriculum Committee in the fall:
 
1)        Are there students from other departments outside Spanish and Portuguese who take this course?  If so we will be happy to contact those programs for concurrence.

Administrative This course is pre-major and therefore has no connection to the proposal to revise the Spanish major. Do not hold up behind major revision proposal. kmh
