Administrative | Rationale for requested repeatability increase: As for the rationale for making the change: The course is one that we'd like all graduate students to take on a more regular basis. The course focuses on acquisition of skills that one needs to be a successful professional linguist including giving presentations, writing grants, applying for jobs, etc. We feel that a student needs more than one quarter of this class, because the needs of the students change as they evolve through their 5 years of study. --Julie McGory 11/3/08 |

Administrative | Julie McGory requested: "We need 800 to be repeatable for up to 18 hours. I was not aware that that wasn't the case." The proposal will be reviewed by the Hums CC again regarding the repeatable hours. stl |
