We had a question about the short written responses: to what are students responding, the readings? Not clear on syllabus. How do these relate to the expected learning outcomes? Would it be possible to give an example? Please be more explicit about what response papers will elicit. This could become important when assessing "portfolio of sample student work" for the assessment review of the GEC course that comes due every 5-7 years.

earlier changes to this course were approved by the HUM CCC on 5-30-08 (see other NELC 380 CRMT site) without the GEC status request. Dept. decided to apply in AU 08 for GEC status. kmh |
