COTA CC approved with contingencies below 2/27/09; Revision rec'd 4/7/09 and emailed to COTA CC Chair for contingency approval 4/13/09 res:

  • Please fill out a new course request form- this will have to be done through ECA as our office can no longer accept paper course requests for new courses
  • Syllabus is thin with regards to the identity of guest speakers; what do they do? What is their purpose, what are they adding to the class? The committee is asking for this because it seems like a large part of the class
  • Please change deduction in increments to a 3rd of a letter grade rather than half (B+ to B, etc)
  • 16 pt disability font boilerplate; misconduct boilerplate; participation statement (20% of grade)
  • Readings need page numbers (what sort of load per week?); does not seem to be much reading for this level course
  • Credit hours?  Add to syllabus & new course form
  • Prereqs?  Add to syllabus & new course form if any
