V. Williams to ask for the following (done 10-14-09; see letter attached below)regarding the reading assignments & guest lecturers:

  • Specify what are the political, economic, cultural, physical, social, and philosophical issues (some combination of those elements) that are international in the course.
  • What are the topics of discussion that go along with those issues?

Generally, for all 4 courses (248, 697.05, 494, 697.04): committee would like

  • a greater fleshing out of suggested readings, media assignments, discussions, and the final reports or reflection papers
  • to see how they relate to the learning goals and objectives of the Intl Western non-US GEC category. 10-12-09  bv
