5-15-12 meeting: unanimously approved with 2 contingencies:

  1. Edu PAES 2601: Current prereq: Admission to the PETE (Physical Education / Teacher Education) undergraduate major, or permission of instructor. Unit will have to adjust that so that non-majors can easily take the course (without having to ask instructor permission).  
  2. Electives: Edu PAES 1201: page 2 of proposal says that the course contains essential knowledge for students to have. If knowledge is truly essential, ask unit to make 1201 a prereq. If it’s not truly essential to the minor, please remove the course. (See ASC rule that minors should contain courses at 2000-level and above.)
