Concurrence | The Department of Art enthusiastically supports the proposed survey courses: History of Western Art 1, (HA201), and History of Western Art 2, (HA202). Moving from a 3 quarter to a 2 quarter survey will be of considerable benefit to our BA and BFA Art majors by improving their comprehensive knowledge (as many complete only 2 from the existing sequence of 3). Art is also endorses the proposed changes in content emphasis towards analysis and the acquisition of critical tools.
Thanks.
Best,
Richard |
