- Needs concurrence from Geography
- New course- new hire Glaciologist Ian Howitt
- Elective now, but will be part of new Earth Sciences concentration with 207 as pre-req
- 40 students really expected? 27 currently but new BA and existing BS will contribute to increased numbers elective in major. Could also attract Geography students
- Consider for a possible GEC course (would need an assessment plan in line with GEC learning objectives)
- Change syllabus language from “require” lecture attendance to “expected”
- Could consider test-running this course as a 594.
