Administrative | Beth Hume's e-mail to Joseph Branin on 9/22/05:
With regards to the proposed new course, Arts&Sci122D, the committee wondered whether there had been any discussions with individuals in ASC regarding how
this course would tie in with Arts&Sci400, Career Planning Seminar, a course
already on the books. Also, we thought that the term 'explorations' might be
more appropriate in the course title instead of 'research' since students
taking the 100-level course may not have decided on a career at that point and
so still be "exploring". If you agree, the course title might then be: "On-line
Career Explorations." If, before our next meeting on Thursday, Oct. 6th, you're
able to send me an e-mail regarding these points along with an updated
syllabus, we should be able to put the proposal on the agenda for that meeting. |
