Announcements:
- Brian McHale attended the ASC Faculty Senate meeting and presented a powerpoint presentation of some information detailed in his committee's report.  The CCI will discuss a vetting process once the report is released.
- Randy Smith announced that there are currently three groups that have convened to discuss the following issues:
  1. A possible undergraduate major in Social Studies (for those who are interested in Social Studies education)
  2. Committee on double majors, dual degrees, and minors, particularly across colleges
  3. A group forming around the topic of Literacy Studies
