1-28-16 & 2-3-16: Proposal resubmitted with some changes. All 4 documents have been revised (beyond the changes requested by the A&H Panel). The revisions were produced in response to requests from the Religious Studies Advisory Board. They reviewed the entire proposal in response to the A&H Panel request for a specification of their make up and duties. The version previously submitted contained similarities with the new version of the main Comparative Studies major that the Advisory Board had not approved.

The changes are:

  • Removal of 2099 from list of required courses
  • Reduction of hours in required courses from 13 to 12
  • Insertion of language about alternative possibility for 3990
  • Insertion of language about research course requirement only for those taking 4990 (see advising sheet, number 4, Research Course)
  • Insertion of language describing the make up of the Advisory Board and its duties
