| Administrative | 02/06/2024: Unit originally submitted as 3 credit hour lecture (3585) and 1 credit hour laboratory experience (3586). Subsequently, decided to create a 3-credit hour course with GEN Theme category (3585) and a 4-credit hour High-Impact Practice, GEN Theme category (3586) course. 3585 (which is now a 3-credit hour course that no longer can be combined with a 1 cr High-Impact Practice course) was not advanced at that time due to administrative concerns and confusions at 09/20/2023 meeting. Status of course has been updated to "Approved" to reflect that the requested Theme has been approved (see below notes for additional information). M. Hilty & I. Nagar met with unit after Subcommittee meeting to discuss concerns. Administrative concerns satisfied on 02/06/2024 and course is ready to be advanced. See updated proposal which addresses administrative concerns and is ready to be advanced as a 3-credit hour GEN Theme course. (MH) |
